A beggining

"I hope I didn't wake you. My apologies," the paladin apologizes.

"Sorry!"

The rugged voice almost echoes through the empty plains, except for a few trees here and there.

"No, no. It's alright," he says. He refuses to get up. "Though if'n you don't mind, I'm finding myself rather comfortable in this position. May stay a while like this yet, unless it be m'turn to take watch."

"As I recall, our scaled friend here stated that his watch would start once mine had ended... and I suspect that time has likely come."

Looking down at the lock of hair in his hand, he stifles a yawn. "Truth be told, I am rather tired. I imagine I should retire for the night."

"Aye. Get some sleep."

With a tired smile, the Paladin gets up and moves himself over to his tent.

Syreskala sits down, with his hammer and shield placed alongside him, looking at the fire.

"Try not to stare at that too long," Giorg says before he turns back to sleep. "I knew an elf who fell asleep because of that once. Not a pleasant experience."

"Thanks for the advice, companion."

The dragonborn then sits down, with his back to the fire, a little paranoid about the situation now.
