All incoming trade and travel ships must pass through inspection and customs at this wharf before being allowed to dock. Fishers also gather nearby to catch and sell the fruits of their labor.
Interestingly enough, the Veshi were given a building in the Dock District to be their home in Larendar. They seem content to stay near their technologically superior ships.
