| Before I post I'm looking for GM permission to create a character related (distantly) to an NPC, specifically a gnome wizard whose the great uncle of Daphne Rosemaker. May I do so? | |

| I was wondering how "Greek" is the setting? are Cyclops and Centaurs roaming through town. Is the everyone wearing togas and rowing galleys? Is this Clash of the Titans or we just using the Greek Pantheon with normal D&D world... | |

| Great Uncle of Daphne is fine The setting is somewhere between both of those extremes... more DnD with Greek Pantheon, but all of the myths of old are possibly present, if presented in a slightly different manner. Monsters are a mixture of both DnD and Greek monsters. Dress is whatever, for the most part. Essentially, it's been many of hundreds of years since the Greek gods came and kicked out the old ones... so the two cultures have had a long time to mix, marry, and combine into their own entity. The Greeks didn't come in and replace everything... just everything religious, if that makes sense. Edit: Also, don't forget to come say hello over in our Discord. Most everyone hangs out over there, it's where we handle a lot of the back-and-forth about thread ideas, player connections, that sort of thing. Also makes it easier to throw Character sheets up and down the chain | |
